In the dark days of Katrina’s aftermath, it was inconceivable that it would be the catalyst for great personal joy. Katrina’s destruction provided a forced timeout which I used for personal reflection. As a lawyer in the specialty of medical malpractice, every day was seared with the pain, and sorrow of my clients.  I resolved that the last precious segment of my life should savor the joy and beauty alive in the world, not its misery. A fierce love and respect for Mother Nature, with the opportunity to move to Waveland, Miss, a cornucopia of natural beauty, even amid post-Katrina destruction, made nature photography a perfect fit for my newly awakened desire. Because of my husband’s dedication to my art and his IT expertise, this website can now share with you the extraordinary beauty of the Gulf Coast – often Wabi Sabi moments- captured for my soul through the eye of a camera lens. Hopefully, with  ever-developing technique, I will be able to share its magic with you for many years to come.

Photographs on this site are available for sale as canvases as sized. Upon request, I may also transfer images to photography paper, or change the offered size, if feasible.  Also,  I offer cards for sale as 4×6″ images, framed in 5×7″ cream, linen matted cards. They are blank within and the back is stamped with “Original Photo by P Chris”. (card photo, front and back)

In addition, if you are in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, please visit Gallery 220, 220 Main Street, where I have my work for sale as cards, canvases and prints.   Enjoy.
